Manatee Coloring Page

Manatees are slow-moving marine mammals that can weigh up to 1,000 pounds. The West Indian Manatee lives in the waters surrounding the southern United States, Caribbean Islands, eastern Central America and off of the northeast coast of Brazil. Manatees are threatened by boat propellers and fishing nets because of their slow-moving nature.

As forests disappear, countless species are threatened with extinction.
