Training ServicesSince 1995, the Rainforest Alliance has delivered hundreds of courses on responsible forestry, training thousands of people in over 25 countries around the world. From forestry professionals interested in improving their technical skills, to business people concerned about purchasing policies, to international development experts who want to learn how forestry can contribute to sustainable livelihoods to naturalists curious about the basics of certification, we offer training courses to suit their needs. The Basics of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification Courses on the fundamentals of FSC certification, taught both in the classroom and in the field. Advanced FSC Certification Training More in depth courses for those with a solid knowledge of FSC certification.
Courses for forestry professionals who would like to become FSC forest management or Chain-of-Custody auditors, and for current auditors who would like to update their skills or become lead auditors. Executive guidance, training in green procurement, organizational workforce training and supplier and client outreach tools are all geared to help businesses and organizations meet their pre-and post-certification needs.
