Aldea de la Selva Lodge is an environmentally responsible company that is committed to the sustainable development of our local community. We believe this is integral to our being a successful business and develop innovative and sustainable practices that aim to influence other actors in tourism and our community.

We are committed to quality service. We provide ongoing training in sustainable management and skills to our staff. We have a code of ethics, a health and safety plan, and a maintenance plan, which we strictly follow in order to provide the quality and excellent service our guests deserve.

We are committed to the local community and actively participate in the sustainable development of Puerto Iguazu. Our priority is to have employees who are residents of Puerto Iguazu and local suppliers in order to promote local development and reduce the carbon footprint caused by transportation. The community of Puerto Iguazu can use our facilities for environmental education activities. Our facilities are also available to other groups working to conserve the Atlantic Forest and promote the sustainable development of Puerto Iguazu.

We have a sustainable management plan for water, energy and waste, as well as a biodiversity conservation plan. We only plant native species, and all of our facilities and operations are carried out to have the least possible impact on local animals and plants. Our green purchasing plan prioritizes the purchase of products with minimal packaging, fresh and organic produce, biodegradable products, and products with certified traceability.
