Introduction
En Español
The Rainforest Alliance's Neotropics Communications program provides the general public, government officials, journalists and the environmental community with a wealth of information about solutions to conservation challenges in the Americas -- North, Central and South America and the Caribbean -- one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth. We provide researchers and conservationists throughout the Americas with information on the work of their colleagues, so they can build on their efforts and learn from their experiences. And, we offer training workshops to a variety of audiences in both English and Spanish.
- The Eco-Index is an online encyclopedia of more than 1,000 conservation projects in the Americas, plus an information-packed, electronic environmental magazine.
- The Western Hemisphere Migratory Species Initiative Pathway keeps conservationists and stakeholders well-informed about what each is doing to conserve migratory species and their habitats.
- The Eco-Index of Sustainable Tourism allows visitors to search for environmentally and socially responsible tourism businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean. Now you can take a fun vacation plus make a difference.
- Eco-Exchange features articles about conservation efforts and issues in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Workshops on designing effective communications strategies and conservation initiatives are organized for conservation groups, government agencies and universities.
- Resources for journalists including environmental reporting workshops, field trips and publications.
