Business are invited to register with the Rainforest Alliance and join a growing network of companies that are sourcing and selling Rainforest Alliance Certified products. There is growing consensus that certification is the most effective way to ensure best farm management practices and to convey positive, credible messages from farmer to consumer and stockholder.
Trend-setting food companies and supermarkets are demanding to know how the goods they sell are produced and all associated social and ecological consequences involved in that production. Buyers are increasingly interested in seeking out certified products as a way of ensuring a long-term supply of sustainable goods.
The partnerships that the Rainforest Alliance is creating in the marketplace are shining examples of for-profit and nonprofit organizations working together to improve the environment and worker health and safety, while improving bottom-line business performance.
