Watch the Rainforest Alliance Curricula in Action

Because we believe that children are our biggest stakeholders, we created the Rainforest Alliance Learning Site filled with free, complete lesson plans, stories (available in English, Spanish and Portuguese), presentations, articles, posters and background descriptions of species and on-the-ground conservation projects for kindergarten through sixth grade. This program is unique in that it teaches science, math, language arts and social studies essentials while addressing the National Standards for Science. The multidisciplinary curriculum presents information on forests, wildlife and local communities, and provides a global perspective on the importance of protecting the world's natural resources, while giving students opportunities for direct action. All of these resources are easy to download or view on screen and are provided free of charge.
We invite you to join us in educating our children about the importance of rainforests, and in advocating for their survival. Join us in ensuring that today’s children -- and their children -- will be able to hear the raucous call of the scarlet macaw, to witness the brilliant blue flash of a morpho butterfly and to understand how people everywhere can benefit from the wealth of forest resources without destroying them.
