Workers on Unilever Tea Kenya’s Kericho Estate — Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM since 2007 — earn anywhere from three to five times more than the national average. For employees on the estate, Rainforest Alliance certification has meant more than better land management and environmental stewardship. It’s also helping to secure a full range of worker benefits, including decent housing, access to quality education and health care for workers and their families.
