The Center for World Indigenous Studies (CWIS) is an independent, nonprofit research and education organization dedicated to creating a better understanding and appreciation of the ideas and knowledge of indigenous peoples and the social, economic and political realities of indigenous nations. The Web site explains the programs that help the Center achieve its purpose and contains an archival collection of documents and official publications.
