Nearly five years ago, Joke (pronounced yo-ka) Aerts moved to Amsterdam to serve as one of the Rainforest Alliance's representatives. At the time, our presence in Europe included our Madrid-based forestry staff, representatives in the UK and France and several companies sourcing products from certified farms and forests. Since then, she's been joined by European marketing manager Marcel Clement -- and our presence across the continent has grown by leaps and bounds.
