PresentationsWorld Travel Mart World Travel Mart is the international travel industry's premier business-to-business forum with over 5,000 leading suppliers and 44,000 industry professionals from over 190 countries. The first Sustainable Tourism Certification Network of the Americas was launched in the context of this conference, gathering representatives of leading certification programs in the region and other collaborative organizations to exchange experiences and define common objectives. 1) Presentation by Ronald Sanabria, Director, Sustainable Tourism Program - Rainforest Alliance: Fifth World Conservation Union World Parks Congress This event marked the launch of a long term partnership between the Rainforest Alliance, The International Ecotourism Society, the Center on Ecotourism and Sustainable Development and the United Nations Environment Programme in association with the World Tourism Organization.
