Your principal aim is to continuously facilitate and enhance the demand for Rainforest Alliance certified commodities by proactively serving relevant accounts in the BENELUX region. You will develop and execute (sales) plans for the retention and development of existing key accounts, as well as to acquire new ones in the core market. You proactively identify account needs, manage the full-cycle process and develop the relationship with food brand owners and retailers into mutual continuous commercial success. Herein you gather and provide relevant market information and assist accounts in their implementation of the Rainforest Alliance programs and services. You will also have the opportunity to work on advocacy activities as part of the business development plan, such as designing and implementing campaigns and events. You are an organized self-starter with a passion for sustainability and you can work cooperatively with clients and the Rainforest Alliance departments. This position provides the potential to contribute to sustainable development and commercial success in the important BENELUX market.
Since the main focus will be on Belgium, we are especially interested in candidates with a successful track record in the Belgium market, ideally living in/near Amsterdam, as you will work from the Amsterdam office.
