Position summary:

Supports the implementation of business development plans in core markets in Europe, with a focus on Germany, Switzerland and Austria, by developing and implementing account plans and market activities. Companies and NGO’s that can transform the sustainability landscape in coffee, cocoa, tea and bananas are the main focus.


  • Develops and manages account plans for relevant accounts in the core market. 
  • Implements market and advocacy activities part of core market business development plan, for example events, campaigns.
  • Support key accounts in implementation of RA programs (including UTZ) and services.
  • Gathers knowledge and analyze information relevant to core market (sustainability and market trends, segment information). 
  • Works with other departments on developing and implementing account plans.
  • Works closely with field representatives from main countries supplying RA products (coffee, cocoa, tea, bananas) to core market in developing information and initiatives relevant to core market.
  • Implement business development activities in the core market (event coordination, campaign design and implementation, newsletter, general communications with key sectors). 


  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, agriculture, international development, environmental studies.
  • 10 years of experience working with company accounts and relevant stakeholders in the core market.
  • Living for at least 10 years in the core market.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Results-driven, team player, proven passion for sustainability.
  • Ability to work from home while being part of a global organization.


Commensurate with experience.


The position will be based in Frankfurt/Cologne/Bonn region, Germany. Probably working from home as a starting point and moving to a new, small office later this year. Office location (if any) depends on the candidate and the DACH Lead who has not been hired yet. 

Starting date of the assignment is foreseen as soon as possible.
