Position summary:
Lead the development and implementation of an Assurance plan to improve the cases management and monitoring, strengthen the current assurance system by implementing additional assurance interventions and prevent occurring issues.
Responsibilities:
Activities and tasks:
Strengthen current assurance system
- Further Develop & Implement the Banana Assurance Action plan, to address current gaps & problems, to improve rules, policies, procedures & monitoring.
- Deploy project group for roll out & monitoring.
Implement a prevention plan
- Revise the audit reports of the past, to prevent future issues/ weaknesses.
- Monitor the database to identify high risks.
- How to establish relations with the certification bodies (CBs).
Improve case management and monitoring
- Better procedures to manage decertification & attacks.
- Set-up internal task force, incl. legal, dealing with cases.

Qualifications:
If Consultant Firm, a dedicated staff person with the following qualifications is required, if consultant is an individual, the following demonstrated skills and knowledge are required:
- Relevant knowledge and experience in law, labor conditions, or related social topics;
- Experience with certification standards;
- Written and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish;
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong management skills: detail-oriented, high analysis capacity, efficient problem solving.
- Ability to travel
Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
