Join ROM Botanists Tim Dickinson and Deborah Metsger, and Executive Vice President of the Rainforest Alliance, Ana Paula Tavares, on a spectacular journey to the top of the tropical rainforest canopy. This extraordinarily beautiful film was shot in an untouched region of the Peruvian Amazon and in Gabon. Using spectacular animation and drawing on extensive research, the film leads viewers into the depths of the tropical jungle and into the heart of life on earth. Directed by the Academy Award winning director of March of the Penguins, Luc Jacquet. The film will be shown in French with English subtitles. The screening will be followed by a discussion.
