There are 77 recognized ethnic groups in Peru as well as 68 languages belonging to 16 ethno-linguistic families. After Spanish, our second language is Quechua.
Tourism is one of Peru’s main activities. Activities include tours to archaeological sites; ecotourism, especially in the Peruvian Amazon; cultural tourism in colonial cities; adventure tourism; beach tourism; and the ever-growing gastronomic tourism.
