Free Educational Event for Kids in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park: From Brooklyn to the Tropics, Connecting Kids to Conservation

  • What: In celebration of Rainforest Alliance Week, a social media campaign highlighting the importance of consumer choice in creating a sustainable future, this event will feature a range of hands-on activities to help kids explore the nature in their local area and connect them to tropical rainforests and the species that inhabit them. Kids will have an opportunity to connect with the environment while creating art, dancing and walking through the park. This event is free to the public, thanks to funding from HSBC. Don’t miss out!
