Free Educational Events for Kids in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park: NYC Trees and Climate Change

  • What: : In celebration of NYC Climate Week 2011, the Rainforest Alliance is leading a workshop to educate kids on climate change. Using dynamic, interactive activities, kids will learn about the climate cycle, measure trees to find out how much carbon they can store and discover the role that forests play in climate change. This event is free to the public, thanks to funding from HSBC.
