Dear Partners,
We are launching a new Rainforest Alliance traceability platform from September designed to make managing traceability of your certified products simpler, faster, and more intuitive.
The first crop to transition to the new platform will be nuts in September 2026, including hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, macadamias, peanuts, and pistachios. Other crops will follow at a later stage, and timelines will be announced separately. We will inform you in advance to ensure you have sufficient time to prepare.
Why this change?
Traceability is the backbone of the Rainforest Alliance Certification Program. It ensures the flow and integrity of products sold as Rainforest Alliance Certified and confirms the accuracy of certification claims. By strengthening how product data is captured and managed, we are improving visibility across the supply chain and supporting a smoother, more reliable certification process.
What’s new?
Based on your feedback, we are introducing the following enhancements in the new platform:
- A comprehensive dashboard and clearer overviews for improved transparency and easier navigation
- Upfront confirmation of partner and product data, reducing errors and preventing delays later in the transaction process
- Streamlined transactions, including bulk confirmation, improved reference fields, draft saving, and more flexible mixing and conversion steps
- New system notifications to keep you informed of important actions, configurable to your preferences.
What do I need to do, and when?
If you manage traceability of nuts—including hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, macadamias, peanuts and pistachios—please follow the guidance below:
- Before August 30th: Ensure all MultiTrace data is up to date and transactions are confirmed, withdrawn, or rejected. Unapproved transactions will not be migrated to the platform.
- Between September 1st and September 7th: Freeze period—no transactions can be performed in MultiTrace.
- From September 7th: Access the new Traceability Platform via MyRA.

New traceability as part of MyRA
You will access traceability directly through MyRA, your central hub for both certification and traceability activities. From there, you can manage applications, audits, decisions, and all traceability tasks in one place.
