TERM: The competition will run from October 31, 2024 15:30 p.m. GMT until November 7th, 2024 at 23:59 GMT. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed, damaged in transmission or whatsoever. If your entry is received outside of this period, you may be disqualified.
ELIGIBILITY: The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom and Ireland aged 18 years or over except employees of Rainforest Alliance and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the Rainforest Alliance or judging of the competition. Rainforest Alliance reserves the right to require proof that an entrant meets the eligibility requirements for this competition. Failure to provide proof of the eligibility requirements may result in disqualification from the competition.

NUMBER OF ENTRIES: Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. The competition runs digitally. Only entries received online via the Rainforest Alliance’s website will be accepted.
PRIZE: The prize is as follows: a selection of Nestle Confectionery including Aero Bigger Bubbly Peppermint Sharing Bar (145g), KitKat 2F Milk Chocolate Biscuit Bar (9 x 20.7g,) Quality Street Tub (600g), After Eight (300g) Carton, Smarties Giant Tube (120g), a Rainforest Alliance mug and T-shirt. The prize is as stated, non- negotiable and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The Rainforest Alliance is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party in connection with this competition.
WINNER: One winner will be chosen at random using software, from all entries received and verified by Rainforest Alliance.
CONTACTING THE WINNER: The Rainforest Alliance will take reasonable steps to contact the winner by using the contact details provided at the time of entry. If Rainforest Alliance cannot contact a winner within one week after the winner is announced, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
DATA PRIVACY: When you submit your entry to this competition, you will be required to provide us with your email address. The winner will be asked to provide his or her names and mailing address for receiving the prize. By entering the competition, you agree that the Rainforest Alliance shall be entitled to process such personal information for the purposes of the administration of the competition, unless you provide consent to any other processing or use of your personal information. The winner agrees to the Rainforest Alliance’s use of his/her name and image and entry for the competition in any publicity material regarding the competition, without any further remuneration being payable to the winner. INDEMNITY: By participating in the competition, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Rainforest Alliance, its affiliates and their officers, directors, employees or agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the competition or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the competition; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the competition or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the competition or receipt of any prize.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in the competition, Rainforest Alliance will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data or goodwill, service interruption, computer damage or system failure or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the competition, or from any communications, interactions, or meetings with other entrants, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), product liability, or any other legal theory. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the foregoing limitation of liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- The Rainforest Alliance reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Rainforest Alliance’ control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Rainforest Alliance.
- There is no entry fee, no donation fee and no purchase whatsoever necessary to enter this competition.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- This competition is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Dutch law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Netherlands.
