Who we are

The Rainforest Alliance is a global non-profit working to create a future where people and nature thrive in harmony. The enormity of the challenges we face requires working together in a broad alliance. Together we work to protect biodiversity, sustain ecosystems, build climate resilience, strengthen human rights—and improve the livelihoods of the people who call these vital natural landscapes home.
