How Companies Participated in the Past
- Birds and Beans, Inc. invited customers to participate in their bird walk event and a certified coffee promotion on their website and in email.
- On their website and in emails to customers, The Republic of Tea promoted complimentary Rainforest Alliance plush frogs for the first 75 online orders.
- Timothy’s Coffees of the World featured a Follow the Frog banner on their home page, linking visitors to their selection of Rainforest Alliance Certified coffees.
- Yampu Tours, VaPues Tours, Unicornio Azul, Country Walkers, Adventure Life, Uxlabil EcoHotels and Hands Up Holidays offered online discounts on travel to Rainforest Alliance Verified hotels and lodges.
On Facebook...
- Use our sample messages below to help spread the word about Follow the Frog Week and how you’re celebrating.
- Post facts about your product, its origins and why it’s more sustainable -- e.g., “Did you know our coffee is grown on Rainforest Alliance Certified farms that protect the environment and the well-being of communities?”
- Post images of your products with the green frog seal or photos of the people and places behind your products/services.
- Encourage customers, fans and followers to post their photos of your products with the green frog seal to the Rainforest Alliance Facebook page and use the #FollowtheFrog hashtag.
