Dan Houser is a co-founder of Rockstar Games, where he served as Vice President of Creative and Head Writer for twenty one years. He has been a supporter of the Rainforest Alliance for the past fifteen years and joined the board in 2019.
Houser is a member of the Academy Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame and also serves on the Board of Trustees of The Brooklyn Museum and a development committee of The Bowery Mission. He has MA in geography from the University of Oxford.
