Rainforest Alliance certified products are identified with our frog seal

Sustainable Agriculture Certification (SAS)

Our most holistic certification solution supports the three pillars of sustainability: social, environmental, and economic. 

Regenerative Agriculture Certification (RAS)

This certification covers critical social, livelihood, and water requirements while deepening those for soil health, biodiversity, and climate resilience.

Strong farm management systems(i)

Management commits to promoting gender equality by:

  • A written statement that is communicated to group members or workers
  • Appointing a committee (see 1.1.1) responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of measures that promote gender equality
  • Ensuring the committee includes at least one management representative with decision-making power and at least one person of each gender.

In groups of smallholders, a responsible person instead of a committee may be appointed.
