A percentage of our monthly sales supports the Kusi Kawsay Andean School, a non-profit school that empowers economically challenged children from the Pisac area to become confident, free, self-assured young adults, and future leaders.

Established in 2010, the school is located on a beautiful piece of land overlooking Pisac in Cusco. Kusi Kawsay uses Fusion Education, incorporating aspects of Waldorf pedagogy, which shares a similar approach to life as indigenous Cosmo vision and encompasses our goal to educate individuals within the ideals of a culture of peace and solidarity while practicing the heritage of the ancestor’s reciprocity. The school values, respects, preserves, and promotes Andean traditional culture. Children learn music and dance, art, weaving and textiles, physical education, chemistry, Quechua, English, Andean cosmovision, and agriculture.

Tours to the school are also included in some of our tour packages, where guests learn Quechua and have the opportunity to learn more about this school.  We also teach our clients, staff, and suppliers about Kusi Kawsay.
